The inside diameter fits cleanly over the bolt shank without excessive clearance, while the outside diameter provides sufficient bearing area to prevent the washer from pulling through the connected material under load. JLHY's flat washers are manufactured from carbon steel with zinc plating for good indoor corrosion resistance.
