Detailed Information For Lost Head Nails for Timber and Carpentry Use

Lost head nails — also called pin nails — are the finest, most discreet fasteners in the carpenter's toolkit. JLHY's lost head nails feature an exceptionally thin shank (as thin as 1.2mm diameter) and a small tapered head that virtually disappears when driven below the wood surface with a nail punch, leaving only a tiny depression easily filled.

Primarily used in fine carpentry, joinery, and furniture assembly where standard nails or screws would be too obtrusive. Also useful for temporary fixings in finishing work. Due to their fine shank, lost head nails have lower holding power than standard nails and should not be used in structural connections.

Produced in lengths from 25mm to 100mm in mild steel (bright) and stainless steel. Custom lengths and head configurations for OEM orders. Contact JLHY for specifications and pricing.
