Our forged steel eye bolts are manufactured using the closed-die forging process, producing a grain flow that follows the contour of the eye and shank — eliminating the weak points that can occur with cast or machined eye bolts. This makes forged eye bolts the only acceptable choice for professional lifting and rigging applications.

The eye provides a secure connection point for hooks, shackles, cables, or slings. The shoulder on the shank ensures the eye sits perpendicular to the load direction, preventing dangerous side-loading. Available in carbon steel (zinc plated or HDG) and stainless steel A4 for marine applications. Safe Working Load (SWL) ratings are clearly marked, and all JLHY eye bolts are proof-load tested to 2× the rated working load.
