JLHY's hex bolts are manufactured from medium carbon steel, typically Grade 8.8, which provides an excellent balance of strength, ductility, and cost. The zinc plating is applied after threading and heat treatment to avoid embrittlement. We also offer Grade 10.9 for higher strength requirements. Thread tolerances are maintained to ISO 965-1 6g standards for consistent torque-to-clamp relationships.
