Detailed Information For Black Annealed Iron Wire for Industrial Binding
Black annealed iron wire is softened by heating to temperature and cooling slowly, transforming it from stiff springy wire into a pliable, easy-to-twist material ideal for binding, tying, and general manipulation. JLHY's black annealed wire is the standard binding wire for recycling yards, construction sites, and agricultural operations.
The annealing process makes the wire easy to twist and knot without breaking, even at small diameters. Allows automated binding machines to feed and wrap consistently at high speed. Produced to BS 1052 in gauges from BWG 8 to BWG 24.
The black colour comes from iron oxide formed during annealing — not a coating. Available in single loop, double loop, and spider coils for different handling systems. Also available in stainless steel for applications requiring both softness and corrosion resistance.
